Please help us welcome Jen Dicicco, PT, DPT to Carolina Kinder Development!  With a full clinical team, we are set to fully implement the mission.  That is, we are devoted to infant and toddler development and the prevention and treatment of neck and baby headshape issues.  The tools we have in place to accomplish the mission are Video on DemandBaby Lesson Classes; occupational and physical therapy and cranial banding.

Jen brings not only top-notch technical skill but an effervescence and warmth which the babies (and parents!) respond well to!  Susan and Stacy are so pleased she has joined our clinical team!

Here’s a little about Jen:
Bachelor of Science in Human, Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise.
Virginia Polytechnic and State University, 2004
Doctorate of Physical Therapy,
Marymount University, 2008

She has over 5 years of pediatric experience which includes working with babies and children with torticollis, prematurity, developmental delay, brachial plexus injury, and other diagnoses.

Jen has training with various modalities including Kinesio-taping, McConnel taping, orthotic management, Lokomat Robotic Assistive Walking, and aquatic therapy.  Jen has completed continuing education on Neurodevelopmental Technique, Strain-Counter-Strain, and orthotic management.  She has also trained with Susan Slaughter.  She will be taking myofascial release in September.

She joined Carolina Kinder Development because she wanted to be a part of a practice that was devoted to supporting normal development in infants and toddlers.  She also has always been intrigues with orthotics such as the cranial band.

“As a mother of a young baby, I know the challenges parents face and the importance of finding healthcare providers that can give their children dedicated one-on-one care.”

Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter Allie, practicing Pilates, and scrapbooking.

Welcome to the team Jen!
